CTG Mainframe Administrator
CTG is seeking to fill a Mainframe Administrator position for our client.

Duties
Manage, configure, and maintain mainframe storage systems
Administer DASD, Tape, and Virtual Tape subsystems
Monitor storage performance, capacity, and availability
Support backup/restore systems, disaster recovery, and storage replication
Implement storage standards, policies, and best practices
Provide troubleshooting and resolution for storage-related issues
Collaborate with infrastructure, operations, and application teams to ensure storage reliability and efficiency
Skills
Deep expertise with mainframe storage technologies
Strong working knowledge of DFSMS, DFHSM, RACF, and SMS
Proficiency with Tape Management Systems such as CA1 or RMM
Hands‑on experience with DASD, VTS, and EMC/IBM storage platforms
Skilled in performance monitoring, tuning, and capacity planning
Strong analytic, communication, and documentation abilities
Experience
10+ years of hands‑on MF (Mainframe) technologies experience
Demonstrated experience in DR planning and execution
Must be non‑visa dependent (USC, GC, GC‑EAD)
Must be local to one of the listed locations and able to work onsite 3 days/week
Education
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field preferred
Excellent verbal and written English communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group are required.

The expected base salary for this position ranges from $60.00 to $70.00/hour. Salary offers are based on a wide range of factors including relevant skills, training, experience, education, market factors, and where applicable, licensure or certifications obtained. In addition to salary, a competitive benefit package is also offered.
