As part of the growth strategy for the business, theMedia Operations Manager (Burton-on-Trent office) will report to the Head ofMedia andwill playa key role in driving growth andcommercialperformance across all media channels.

Therole is accountable for acceleratingand protectinggrowth inour media support for GK Group by managing operating infrastructure, from BAU workflows and process improvements within channel teams, supporting media reporting and communications with Managed Divisions and other Central Functions, connecting to IT and Digital and Insights.

This rolewill manage new media infrastructure projects, develop and own media measurementoperations, and support cross-channel support functions

Key Accountabilities:

Support theHead of Media, and Media Management team in delivering all cross-channel initiatives

Co-ordinate acrossallchannelagencies to ensure best practice– working in partnership withMedia Channel Owners and Procurement

Represent the Media team asSubject Matter Expertonstrategic working groups.

Ownership of key development Programme, with asizeable budget and target

Hold responsibility for Media reportingprocesses andbuild out unified media reporting infrastructure and dashboards.

Manage team budget process and Business Planning process in partnership withmultiple corporate stakeholders

Supplier Management: createappropriate agencygovernance framework, and then own process in partnership with channel owners/relationship owners

Manage integrated media response process and delivery across media channels

Develop Media comms schedule to promote business understanding of Media across senior stakeholders, Mktg/Finance teams, and broader business operations.

Stayabreast of the latest developments, changes and trends inadvertising and paid media channels

Ensuring team productivity and flawless execution of our digital media process

Qualifications Technical & Professional Expertise Required:

At least 5 years ofcross-channelmediacampaignmanagement experience,encompassing ATL and digital disciplines, with a strong bias to measurement anddata insights

Demonstrabletrack recordof delivery and an ability to lead, plan and execute projects to an extremely high standard and to demanding deadlines

Ability to express complex technical/media concepts simply and effectively.

Understanding media measurement metrics and challenges

Experience in producing clear and insightful presentations that deliver key messaging at theappropriate levelof the organization

Confident in matrix organisation, with excellent influencing and relation-building

Fluent atplanning and forecasting campaigns at both brand and performance ends of the funnel

Demonstrableexperienceoperatingatlocal level, stimulating footfall for retail or similar

A strong communicator that canadapt for audiences of varying degrees of knowledge

Experience working with creative teams to influence content andasset production to maximise channel performance

Successfullydemonstratedability to wear multiple hats - hands on execution, optimisation, tactical planning, managing relationships with platforms etc.

Experiencedinmanagingend to end userjourneys, andtestingto improve conversion

Knowledge of ad tech landscape including areas such as viewability & verification, audience platforms, measurement, page tagging, pixel creation, troubleshooting & configuration etc.
