As a Water/Wastewater Superintendent, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of water and wastewater construction projects efficiently and on schedule. You will be a crucial part of day to day management of project job sites, including scheduling, quality control, safety management, and ensuring that projects meet quality and safety standards.
Job Responsibilities
Supervise construction of water/wastewater infrastructure projects
Coordinate and schedule daily activities of subcontractors and field personnel
Work closely with engineers, inspectors, and project managers to resolve issues and stay on schedule
Ensure compliance with project specs, safety regulations, and environmental standards and maintain accurate records of relevant data
Conduct safety meetings and enforce job site safety protocols
Read and interpret blueprints, specs, and construction documents
Job Requirements
Proven experience as a Superintendent in water/wastewater construction industry, with a minimum of 5 years
Strong understanding of water and wastewater infrastructure systems, including treatment plants, pipelines, and distribution networks
Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills, with the ability to manage multidisciplinary teams
Knowledge of industry regulations and safety standards
