Hillcrest Hospital Claremore is a 49‑bed acute care medical center offering a wide range of inpatient and outpatient services, including maternity, cardiology, emergency, orthopedics, alcohol withdrawal stabilization, gastroenterology and surgery.
Responsibilities
Perform various polysomnograms and other sleep disorder tests.
Attach electrodes and monitors to patients who are participating in a sleep study.
Monitor the patient throughout the sleep study and document observations.
Collect data from various monitors and report this information to the Medical Director.
Responsible for CPAP titration, BiPAP titration, Servo titration studies and oxygen therapy when applicable.
Answer directly to the Respiratory Therapy/Sleep Lab Manager.
Score and prepare sleep studies for the Physician serving as the Sleep Lab Medical Director.
Qualifications Job Requirements
Minimum of one year as a Polysomnographic Technologist.
Certification by the Board of Registered Polysomnographic Technologists as a registered Polysomnographic Technologist (CPSGT/RPSGT).
Licensed Sleep Technologist.
BLS certification must be obtained within 14 days of hire or transfer into the role and prior to providing direct patient care.
Preferred Job Requirements
Scoring experience preferred.
Registered Polysomnographic Technologist preferred.
