Summary As Office Administrator/Medical Office Receptionist, you'll be the first point of contact for patients and visitors, ensuring they feel comfortable and cared for from the moment they walk through our doors. You'll manage appointments, handle administrative tasks, and support our medical staff with professionalism and warmth.
Responsibilities
Greet patients and visitors with a smile—both in person and over the phone
Schedule appointments to maximize patient satisfaction and provider efficiency
Manage patient files and ensure smooth clinical flow
Assist with insurance paperwork, billing questions, and administrative support
Coordinate transportation for patients when needed
Maintain a tidy, welcoming reception area
Handle incoming and outgoing mail, packages, and courier deliveries
Support office operations and perform clerical duties as needed
Be the friendly, organized hub of our busy healthcare environment
Qualifications
Strong communication skills, both oral and written
Excellent customer service orientation
Sharp organizational abilities
Proficiency in Windows-based software and Microsoft Office Suite
Experience with EMR systems a plus
Bilingual in Spanish—That’s a big advantage!
At least 1 year of relevant experience or training
High school diploma or equivalent (medical office training preferred)
