Job Responsibilities
Position is responsible for developing, coordinating and directing all aspects of quality, cost‑effective, outcome‑oriented clinical nutrition care under minimum supervision. Assists in the management of PIPS’ nutritional resources and makes decisions that affect patients’ total nutrition care. Facilitates improvement in patients’ nutrition status to reduce complications and lower the risk of harm, and assists the pharmacists in managing TPN patients. Provides clinical monitoring of enteral patients.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics
Within 6 months of hire: Washington Dietitian Certification or Washington Nutritionist Certification
Upon hire: National CDR Registered Dietitian - Commission on Dietetic Registration
1 year hospital or home‑care experience
Preferred Qualifications
Experience in enteral/parenteral nutrition
Pediatric, adult, and geriatric experience
Development of nutrition‑related forms, policies, and procedures
