Position Overview: A custodial worker is responsible for cleaning and sanitizing all areas of the facility, including patient rooms, common areas, and restrooms, while adhering to safety and hygiene protocols of River Edge Behavioral Health.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform general labor tasks, such as sweeping, cleaning, dusting and stocking supplies.

Keep the facility in clean and orderly condition.

Remove trash from all areas

Floor tech experience - Sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, and buffing floors for commercial buildings.

Cleaning in offices, group rooms, restrooms, etc.

Vacuum and spot clean carpets

Moves furniture and equipment as required

Assist with meeting set-up and tear down

Performs other duties as assigned

JOB REQUIREMENTS:

High school diploma or equivalent

Custodial workers must maintain a professional and courteous manner with residents, visitors, contractors and fellow employees.

Must have the ability to follow oral and written instructions and be able to maintain effective and cooperative working relationships.

Two plus years of custodial/janitorial experience

Experience with hand and power tools a plus

Valid driver's license
