Job Description
SOSi is seeking a Facilities Maintainer and GSA locksmith. The structural tasks performed may include but not be limited to carpentry, masonry, sheet metal, welding repairs and alterations, locksmithing, and minor movement and reconfiguration of furniture.
Qualifications Minimum Requirements:
Active in Scope TS/SCI security clearance.
2-4 years professional experience in structural maintenance, renovation, and/or construction including doors, walls, floors, ceilings, and windows.
Must be familiar with locking mechanisms and key fabrication.
Knowledge of welding and sheet metal fabrication for minor maintenance and repair of flashing, ducting, fencing, turnstiles, signage, and other structural components and be able to troubleshoot and repair mechanical gates.
Must be able to safely use manual tools and power equipment common in the construction trades.
Must be able to perform physical activities such as, but not limited to, lifting equipment (up to 50 lbs. unassisted), bending, standing, climbing, or walking.
Desired Qualifications:
Possesses a GSA locksmith certification.
Experience working with the US Military is preferred.
Additional Information Work Environment
Working conditions include a combination of an office environment and outdoor activities. Outside working conditions include potential exposure to extreme high temperatures, dry and dusty conditions.
Required PPE includes but is not limited to head, foot, hand, torso, respiratory, vision and hearing protective devices.
Lifts and carries all types of working materials and equipment of the trade depending on the assignment.
