Material Handler-Overnight Shift

Work Location Bellwood, IL
Work Hours Overnight shift. Overtime may be required, including varying start and end times, weekends, as needed.
Responsibilities
Transport products, packaging, and raw materials to and from production lines, packaging areas, and trailers.
Organize packaging and return areas, load or unload trailers.
Complete forklift driver’s daily checklist; replenish fluids and create maintenance work requests.
Maintain a safe and clean working environment, complying with procedures and regulations.
Pick and stage packaging and supplies at work sites.
Receive materials from production, verify and document quantity, and record in inventory.
Load and unload trailers.
Verify case/pallet counts and patterns; report discrepancies.
Assist in inventory reconciliation.
Track and ship products using SAP and/or Excel.
Perform duties safely and report hazards.
Follow all company policies, GMPs, and safety methods.
Perform additional related duties as assigned.
Skills and Qualifications
Operate a Reach and Standup forklift, hand jack, or electric pallet jack.
Ability to speak, read, and write English.
Work overtime as needed.
Work independently with minimal supervision.
Lift up to 60 lbs.
Operate a stretch-wrapper.
Good written and verbal communication skills.
Promote teamwork, have a positive attitude, and exhibit flexibility.
Experience Minimum of 1 year operating a reach truck, standup forklift, or electric pallet jack.

Compensation $25.00 per hour plus a $.75 per hour shift differential.
