The Opportunity:
An established and growing RV dealership is looking to add a customer‑focused Parts Associate to its team. This is a front‑line position where you’ll interact directly with both customers and internal departments to support parts sales, service operations, and inventory management efforts. The right candidate will be friendly, organized, and self‑motivated, as well as comfortable helping customers on the floor one moment and processing orders, stocking shelves, or negotiating with vendors the next. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys a fast‑paced retail environment, takes pride in both the customer experience and back‑end execution, and enjoys working in an operation where they are truly valued and can stick around long term.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Deliver outstanding customer service via in‑store, phone, text, and email interactions
Assist with parts lookups, orders, and product recommendations; maintain thorough documentation and order tracking
Provide retail walkthroughs to new RV customers, aiming to educate and outfit them with key parts and accessories
Upsell and cross‑sell relevant items based on needs, applications, and usage scenarios
Maintain showroom and retail space, including restocking, stickering, dusting, and merchandising
Process sales at the counter and bill parts on service work orders as needed
Receive and verify parts shipments, label items, and ensure proper documentation and inventory entry
Track special orders and drop‑ship items; communicate clearly with customers throughout the process
Notify customers when parts are ready for pickup and follow up on uncollected orders
Conduct rolling inventories with a full store cycle completed quarterly
Re‑price and re‑sticker inventory as directed; process returns to vendors for obsolete or slow‑moving items
Keep work and storage areas clean, organized, and well‑maintained
Monitor reorder points; place stock orders daily and adjust inventory levels as needed
Stay up to date on new products and supplier offerings
Meet individual and departmental sales goals
Support other duties and initiatives as assigned
Qualifications:
Prior experience in a dealership parts department is required; this could be RV, Automotive, Marine, Powersports, or Outdoor Power/Heavy Equipment/Ag
Possesses a customer first mindset with strong communication and problem solving skills
Ability to multitask efficiently in a busy retail and service‑driven setting
Solid organizational skills with a detail‑oriented and proactive approach
Familiarity with inventory systems and point of sale software is required
Willingness to be on your feet, engage with customers, and maintain a clean, professional workspace
Self‑motivated, dependable, and excited to contribute to a cohesive team
