Job Description We are searching for a Material Handler. Internal pre-identified candidate has been identified; however, all applications will be considered.

Overall Purpose Performs a variety of duties to receive, distribute, assemble, and store finished goods into sales warehouse or customer locations as directed. Will also perform materials receipt, disbursement and related activities as directed.

Key Responsibilities

Reads customer order, work order, shipping order, or requisition to determine items to be moved, gathered, or distributed.

Conveys materials and items from receiving or production areas to storage or to other designated areas.

Sorts and places materials or items on racks, shelves, or in bins according to predetermined sequence such as size, type, style, color, or product code.

Assembles customer orders from stock and places orders on pallets or shelves or conveys orders to packing station or shipping station.

Marks materials with identifying information.

Records amounts of materials or items received or distributed.

Uses computer to enter records.

Weighs or counts items for distribution within plant to ensure conformance to company standards.

Maintains inventory records.

Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level.

Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures.

Demonstrate independent understanding and application of core GMP fundamentals, including but not limited to: Data Integrity (DI), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), and Good Documentation Practices (GDPs).

Performs other duties assigned as needed.

Required Qualifications

High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

Distribution/Warehousing experience preferred.

Work activity within warehouse conditions involving material handling equipment and personnel within fast moving environment is required.

Ability to carry out routine tasks with general instruction and new tasks with detailed instruction is required.

Work well in a team environment is required.

Reading/understanding of procedures to support Business critical activities that are compliant to Quality Management System is required.

Forklift experience is preferred.

Ability to wear safety shoes is required.
