Job Description
You are responsible for everything that happens during your shift. This includes all cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations. You must set the example and follow all company policies and procedures 100% of the time, expecting the same from your crew.
Key duties include operating all equipment; stocking ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler; preparing product; receiving and processing telephone orders; taking inventory and completing associated paperwork; and cleaning equipment and the facility daily. Additional responsibilities involve staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, adhering to schedules and standards, maintaining a perfect image, delivering great customer service, ensuring attendance and punctuality, arranging transportation to/from work, maintaining store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability.
Responsibilities
All cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations.
Operate all equipment, stock ingredients, and prepare product.
Receive and process telephone orders and take inventory.
Complete associated paperwork accurately.
Clean equipment and facility daily.
Staff the team, manage paperwork, and enforce cost controls.
Maintain a perfect store image and adhere to standards.
Provide great customer service, ensuring attendance and punctuality.
Transport to/from work, maintain store cleanliness, and support marketing and profitability.
Qualifications
Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly (calculator allowed).
Ability to make correct monetary change.
Strong verbal, written, and telephone communication skills to take and process orders.
Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers for rapid, accurate movements.
Proficiency using a computer keyboard or touch screen to enter orders.
Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record (for delivery experts or store management positions).
Physical Demands
Standing: Most tasks are performed from a standing position; walking in short distances.
Walking surfaces include ceramic tile, bricks, and linoleum; height of work surfaces ranges from 36''–48''.
Lifting: Bulk product deliveries up to 50 pounds; occasional lifting and stacking up to 72'' high.
Carrying: Large cans (3 lbs), pizza sauce (30 lbs), and trays of dough (12 lbs per tray) carried over short distances.
Pushing and pulling: Trays on dollies; pushing force up to 7.5 lbs.
Climbing: Infrequent navigation of stairs or ladders.
Forward bending and stooping: Required at the pizza assembly station; repeated throughout the day.
Reaching: Up, down, forward; occasionally above 72''.
Hand tasks: Frequent use of forearms, wrists, and fingers for pizza dough shaping, pizza peel handling, and box assembly.
Additional Information In addition to the above, delivery experts or store management positions deliver product by car to the customer's door, deliver flyers and door hangers, navigate adverse terrain, and comply with delivery shipping requirements. These roles also require driving within a designated area and adhering to the same physical demands as the store position.
