This contract-to-hire opportunity is ideal for a licensed pharmacist with strong experience in mail order pharmacy services and compounding. This full-time role in Chandler, AZ offers variable shifts that support business needs.
Schedule
Full-time, 40 hours per week (Contract-to-Hire) Opening Shift:
Variable hours between 7:00 AM and 8:00 PM Closing Shift:
Variable hours between 1:00 PM and 10:00 PM Job Duties
Supervise compounding, filling, and labeling of prescriptions and bulk medications completed by pharmacy technicians Clarify prescriptions and refill authorizations with providers Perform final accuracy checks on all dispensed prescriptions Maintain compliance with USP standards and Board of Pharmacy regulations Oversee sterile and non-sterile compounding: capsules, oral liquids, injectables, topical medications, nasal preparations, suppositories, and more Address medication-related questions from patients and pharmacy staff Perform additional duties as assigned by management or the Pharmacist-in-Charge Requirements
Knowledge of Arizona pharmacy laws, policies, and regulations Experience with sterile and non-sterile compounding procedures Exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities Willingness to obtain multi-state licensure is a plus Team/Culture
