Location: Morrisville, NC | Pay: $17.50 – $18.25 per hour | Shift: Monday – Friday, 02:00pm – 10:30pm.
Job Overview At GXO, we’re constantly looking for talented individuals across all levels who can deliver the caliber of service our company requires. As a Material Handler you will play a key role in delivering sophisticated supply chain solutions.
Responsibilities
Support operations by moving material and inventory throughout the facility.
Use hand trucks, conveyors or other material handling equipment.
Perform duties such as packing, scanning, kitting or counting products.
Verify orders, label products and use a handheld scanner.
Adhere to the 7S program.
Maintain a clean environment at all times.
Work in a safe manner that protects yourself and your team members.
Qualifications – Minimum
At least 18 years of age.
Basic math calculations with and without a calculator.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules and operating instructions.
Preferred
1 year of warehouse experience.
Availability for flexible hours, including possible overtime.
Experience using a handheld scanner.
Positive attitude and teamwork skills.
Physical Requirements
Lift up to 50 lbs.
Stand, sit or walk for prolonged periods.
Bend, stoop, squat, twist, push and pull.
Handle or manage tools or equipment.
Tolerate hot or cold warehouse environments.
