Pricing Analyst I
at the Global Operations & Innovation Center in Wheeling, WV.
What will I do: As a Pricing Analyst I you will play a key role in supporting our project management and pricing operations. Working closely with the PEMT Project Manager, you will help manage client rate information, monitor fee arrangements and assist in tracking key performance indicators that help drive business insights. You will also have opportunities to contribute to the analysis of client rate agreements and participate in a variety of projects that enhance our processes.
Responsibilities
Submit client timekeeper rates into the various client e-billing systems; following up to ensure rates are approved
Monitor and update fee arrangement matrix ensuring all agreement details are accurate and up to date
Liaise with Legal Billing Analysts, Secretaries and Attorneys on new matters to ensure billing procedures and rates are consistent with client fee arrangements
Work closely with PEMT members on updating and managing the firm’s client rate sets
Create custom fee alerts as requested by attorneys and PEMT members
Perform basic analysis to support client billing rates and fee arrangement negotiations
Qualifications
2-4 years’ experience in professional services environment
Self-starter, highly motivated and well organized
Ability to work with little supervision
Proven ability to prioritize and execute tasks in a dynamic work environment
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a dedication to quality customer service required
Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Proven problem-solving/resolution skills required
Ability to work effectively with all personnel levels required
Bachelors degree and/or professional level experience in a complex environment required

Compensation and Benefits The expected salary range for this position is between $47,000 and $59,000.
Orrick is committed to providing a comprehensive, competitive, and thoughtful total compensation package to our attorneys and staff, wherever they work. This compensation and benefits information is based on the Orrick’s estimate as of the date of publication and may be modified in the future. The level of pay within the range will depend on a variety of job-related factors that may include, but not limited to, qualifications, relevant experience or education, particular skills or expertise, geography. Other compensation may include an annual discretionary merit bonus, which would be determined by Firm and individual performance.
