Roles and Responsibilities

The Manufacturing Engineer will be responsible for the execution of standard operational/technical tasks, continuous improvement, and oversight of manufacturing processes related to machining operations on turbine blade machining lean lines and supporting processes/equipment. Assist in the monitoring and maintenance of machining equipment including grinders, mills, WEDM, SEMD, and other CNC machines. Support other engineers in analyzing and optimizing machining processes to enhance efficiency and quality across all areas of the cell. Learn to operate, maintain, and improve operation of the cell’s machining equipment. Perform basic troubleshooting and communicate any issues to other engineers. Help ensure all machining operations meet safety and quality standards and/or specifications. Provide technical support to operators and technicians as the point of contact on the off-shift for technical issues. Assist in developing and updating standard work and work instructions. Collect data from machining processes and perform root-cause analysis as needed and assist in identifying corrective and preventative actions. Engage in ongoing training and development opportunities to enhance skills and knowledge. Required Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field OR high school diploma/GED and 4 years experience in manufacturing. Strong problem‑solving skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting using relevant software tools. Eligibility Requirements

Must be able to align to 2nd (2:30‑11pm) or 3rd shift (10:30pm‑7am) or some hybrid schedule of the 2 off-shifts. Must be legally authorized to work in the USA without sponsorship now or in the future. Is 100% onsite at the GE Vernova Greenville, SC Garlington site. Desired Characteristics

Familiarity with manufacturing and machining processes. Familiarity with lean/continuous improvement. Pay Transparency

Base pay range: $74,800.00 — $112,200.00 USD annually. Eligible for a 5% performance bonus/variable incentive compensation/equity. Geographic differential of 110%, 120% or 130% of salary in certain areas. Benefits
