Workers' Compensation Claims Representative
Our client, a leading Insurance Carrier, is seeking a Workers' Compensation Claims Representative to join their Louisiana team. The role focuses on handling mid-to-complex Lost Time claims throughout Louisiana. Qualified candidates must possess an active Louisiana Adjuster’s License and strong knowledge of Louisiana Workers' Compensation Law. The ideal candidate would reside in Louisiana. Pay Range
$75,000.00/yr – $95,000.00/yr Additional Compensation
Annual Bonus and Sign‑On Bonus Responsibilities
Handle mid-to-complex Louisiana Workers' Compensation claims from inception to close. Maintain a pending portfolio ranging from 60 – 800 claims. Negotiate settlements with injured workers and attorneys. Ensure appropriate investigation of underlying facts and circumstances, retain and utilize proper experts, select and utilize counsel appropriately, and employ proper negotiation strategy. Provide direction to legal counsel and manage the litigation process. Attend settlement conferences on serious injury claims. Requirements
3 – 7+ years of Workers' Compensation claims adjusting experience. Must hold an active Louisiana Adjuster’s License. Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the capability to write routine reports and correspondence, speak effectively before groups of customers or employees, and handle litigations and negotiations.
