About Reliable Respiratory Reliable Respiratory is a Durable Medical Equipment (DME) company that supplies high‑quality respiratory, diabetes, urology, and maternity support equipment. We provide CPAPs, BiPAPs, AutoPAPs, nebulizers, oxygen equipment, ventilators, CGM devices, insulin pumps, and breast pumps. Our team serves patients with professionalism, care, and expertise, partnering closely with the medical community.
Duties
Review denied claims, identify issues, correct claims, and resubmit for maximum reimbursement. This includes obtaining authorizations, collecting documentation from facilities, and collaborating with payers and provider services.
Analyze denial trends, report findings to management, and develop strategies to improve claim health and decrease accounts receivable cycles.
Create and update written materials related to insurance procedures and programs.
Review and analyze organizational and payer data to assess payments and denials and recommend changes for margin improvement.
Develop and implement systems for managing denials by dollar value, payer specialization, and invoice age.
Issue invoices and bills, sending them to customers via mail, email, and other channels.
Process payments received through cash, online payments, and other methods, verifying credibility.
Answer customer and payer inquiries and resolve complaints regarding claims.
Reconcile deposits and posted invoices.
Basic Qualifications
Minimum 18 years of age.
Eligible to work in the United States without future work authorization.
Bachelor’s Degree required.
At least 2 years of medical billing, coding, reimbursement, or health insurance experience preferred.
Required Skills
Strong knowledge of New England payers and Massachusetts ACO plans.
Proficiency in obtaining authorizations via portal, fax, and phone.
Adaptability to learn billing functions and meet evolving job needs.
Effective interdepartmental communication.

Competent computer usage, especially Microsoft Office Suite.
