Temporary Pool – Administrative Support
North Carolina Agricultural and Technical State University (NC A&T) invites applicants to join our temporary pool of Administrative Support staff. Positions available include Administrative Support Associate and Executive Assistant. Roles will rotate through departments as need arises.
This temporary, full‑time position (FLSA Non‑Exempt) is posted for the 2026 recruiting cycle (Open: 01/01/2026, Close: 03/31/2026). The appointment is time‑limited and the schedule will vary based on departmental needs.
Key Responsibilities
Banner Processing
Office Management
Departmental HR functions
Assisting with / Managing departmental budget
Providing professional support and customer service to clients, students, faculty and staff
Assisting with clerical and administrative duties
Processing travel arrangements and reimbursements via Chrome River
Processing purchasing requisitions via AggieMart
Composing written materials, including memos, emails, agendas or minutes from meetings
Other duties assigned by supervisor
Preferred Qualifications High‑school diploma or GED required; additional education or experience is preferred. Candidates should be able to work effectively during periods of adverse weather or other emergencies.
