REGISTERED NURSE - TRANSPLANT NEPHROLOGY UNIT – 24 HOURS WEEKLY - DAY SHIFT
Sign On Bonus: $3,333
Shift: Days, 7:00 AM to 7:30 PM, Rotating Weekends and Holidays
GENERAL SUMMARY:
Unit Description:
Henry Ford St John Hospital’s Transplant unit is a 21-bed unit specializing in nephrology, and kidney transplant recovery. We are proud to provide critical care to our patients throughout their stay (an average of four days), in partnership with our Dialysis team. As a medical surgical designated unit, we welcome Registered Nurses of all education and experience levels, and will ensure that you are trained to be successful. Come join our team!
Provides leadership in the coordination and delivery of quality compassionate patient care.
Utilizes the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation, to provide, delegate, supervise and document care and teaching of patients and family.
Effectively communicates pertinent patient/family information to health care team.
Participates in finding solutions for variances from patient goals and ensures implementation of solutions.

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE REQUIRED:
BSN preferred.
Graduation from an accredited school of nursing.
Clinical knowledge and analytical abilities necessary to formulate effective nursing care plans.
Ability to perform a wide variety of professional nursing services.
Ability to effectively communicate with patients, families, and hospital personnel.
CERTIFICATIONS/LICENSURES REQUIRED:
Current licensure by the Michigan State Board of Nursing.
