Location: Chandler, AZ. Salary: $65,000.00-$75,000.00.

Key Responsibilities

Utilize experience in mechanical and electrical maintenance and construction for multi-family and commercial property.

Plumbing maintenance and troubleshooting, with the ability to sweat copper pipe.

Electrical wiring, outlet, and switch maintenance. Lighting fixture installation.

Drywall and texturing installation and repair.

Heating and Cooling and Ventilation troubleshooting and repair, including unit zone valve, transformer, and thermostat maintenance, hot water and steam boiler troubleshooting and maintenance.

Appliance installation, maintenance, repair and troubleshooting.

Work order processing with property manager and staff to efficiently, timely and cost-effectively complete maintenance work orders and apartment unit turns.

Coordinate maintenance staff or vendors to ensure completion of resident maintenance requests within 24 hours or arrange with resident a suitable option.

Ensure vacant apartments are “made ready” within 7 days of vacancy. Coordinate with cleaning and painting contractors as approved by Management Company.

Leave occupied and un-occupied units cleaner than when you arrived.

Communicate with residents when repairs or maintenance will take longer than expected.

Pre-moveout inspections to minimize turn times and complete unit turns timely.

Update/close out work orders in PM software with notes.

Complete any additional tasks as assigned by Community Manager, Regional Manager, Vice President or Maintenance Supervisor.

Qualifications

Superior organization and communication skills.

Ability to provide courteous and professional service to residents, property managers, and supervisors, vendors and other service providers.

Must be honest in time reporting. Reliable and on-time to work.

HVAC experience a must.

Valid driver’s license may be required.

At least one year of experience preferred.

Specialized training: Multi-family property management experience is preferred.
