$37.25 / hr, paid health insurance (at no cost to you), paid pension and annuity. General Duties and Responsibilities
Plan layout and installation of electrical wiring, equipment, or fixtures based on job specifications and local codes. Connect wires to circuit breakers, transformers, or other components. Test electrical systems or continuity of circuits using testing devices such as ohmmeters, voltmeters, or oscilloscopes to ensure compatibility and safety. Use a variety of tools or equipment, including power construction equipment, measuring devices, power tools, and testing equipment such as oscilloscopes, ammeters, or test lamps. Repair and install electrical devices such as receptacles, light fixtures, light switches, lighting ballast, motors, etc. Assist in keeping building common and electrical spaces neat, orderly, and safe. Work in accordance with blueprints, specifications, and local and national codes; update as‑built drawings as necessary. Attend toolbox safety meetings and demonstrate safety competency, including topics such as harassment prevention and ethics. Obtain and maintain an OSHA 10 General Industry Safety and Health standards certification. Extended hours or weekend overtime may be available. Education and Qualifications
High school diploma or GED required. Previous electrical experience required. ISA Instrumentation Certification required. Valid driver’s license. Language Skills
Must be able to effectively communicate in English and cooperate and collaborate with multiple levels of customers and employees. Physical Requirements
The employee must walk, use hands and fingers to handle or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl, and stand frequently. The employee must regularly lift or move up to 50 pounds and must be able to navigate job‑site locations. Specific vision abilities required include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Work Environment
The employee may work outdoors and be exposed to wet or humid conditions, moving mechanical and electrical parts, high or precarious places, dust, fumes, airborne particles, caustic chemicals, a range of weather conditions, and electrical shock risks. Noise level is usually moderate to loud. Benefits
