Dining Services Director Responsibilities

Oversee daily kitchen and dining room operations

Actively participate in meal preparation and cooking

Hire, train, lead and schedule culinary staff

Ensure high standards for food quality, safety, and presentation

Conduct inventory, purchasing, storing and preparation of food

Establish and maintain procedures for sanitation standards

Create nutritious, resident-focused menus

Orders all supplies, maintains inventory control and budget

Qualifications

Proven experience in food service management and cooking; preferably 1-2 years

Background in senior living, healthcare, or hospitality a plus

Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

Experience with front and back of house customer service

ServSafe Certified
