Job Description
Responsible for assisting in a variety of warehouse duties, including shipping and receiving, unloading and loading trucks, fulfilling purchase orders, and keeping warehouse stocked with essential equipment. Performs administrative duties for the warehouse. Assists daily on‑going warehouse operations, picking and packing orders, shipping and receiving.
Receives trucks and unloads merchandise
Checks‑in merchandise and affixes labels
Places merchandise on pallets or shelves for distribution
Records amounts of materials or items received
Stacks merchandise on racks and stocks warehouse with tools
Assists in cycle counting, product family / locations
Responsible for picking, packing and stocking of parts in the warehouse
Fulfills customer orders
Process order using FIFO order
Work with production / manufacturing for finished good products
Process parts for sterilization
Moves materials off racks and packages for shipment
Fill requisitions, work orders, or requests for materials, tools, or other stock items
Maintains records of all activities and processes pertaining to warehouse
Identifies damage, loss, or surplus of goods and materials stored in the warehouse
Follows all safety codes and ensures product is handled according to procedures
Carries out tasks as assigned by the warehouse supervisor
Ensures machinery is serviced and functional
Maintains cleanliness and organization of the warehouse
Performs other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Salary $16.50 - $20.00 / hour financial compensation packages may be higher / lower than what is listed, & will ultimately depend on factors including relevant experience, internal equity, skillset, knowledge, geography, education, business needs and market demand.
Qualifications
Shipping and Receiving experience preferred
Attention to detail required
Must have excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
Computer skills and knowledge of MS Office, Outlook and Excel a plus
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum of one year warehouse experience including ERP
Working knowledge of computer systems and programs, RF Smart Scanners
Forklift operator experience / certification a plus
Ability to work varying shifts, overtime and weekends
