Warehouse Team Member – Menards
Menards Distribution Center is hiring immediately for Warehouse Team Members responsible for loading, unloading, sorting, staging, and transporting products into and out of the Distribution Center.
Shift Options
1st Shift (approximately 6‑7 am to 2‑3 pm)
2nd Shift (approximately 3‑4 pm to 11‑12 pm)
3rd Shift (approximately 10‑11 pm to 6‑7 am)

Primary Responsibilities
Follow Menards safety policies and procedures.
Safely operate forklift or other machinery.
Work cooperatively and productively with other Team Members under little supervision.
Load trucks according to cubic weight, size, and characteristics.
Provide outstanding service with attention to detail and complete tasks in a timely manner.
Maintain the condition of the work area (e.g., free of trash, products in correct locations).
Perform safety checks of powered industrial vehicles prior to operation.
Locate product in the warehouse using manifest or scanning system.
Use hand‑held scanning equipment to add or subtract product from inventory.
Record the quantity of product actually loaded onto the manifest system.
Ensure accuracy of the load by verifying quantity with computer inquiry screens.
Transport product from production/receiving areas using powered industrial vehicle.
Perform additional duties assigned by Distribution Center Management.
Physical Demands
Requires intermittent periods of continuous physical exertion such as walking, standing, stooping, bending, climbing, and lifting.
Environment may include temperature fluctuations (hot/cold), noise, dust, and uneven walking surfaces.
Lift up to 50 lbs frequently; 70 lbs occasionally.
Position Requirements
Must be eighteen years of age or older.
Warehouse experience preferred but not required.
