Maintenance Technician
Urban Air Adventure Parks is seeking a Maintenance Technician based in Corpus Christi, TX, to maintain the appearance and safety of all attractions.
Job Summary This role will be responsible for the maintenance and appearance of all attractions. The Technician will assist with the repair and maintenance of attractions and associated equipment in a fast‑paced environment.
Responsibilities
Keep accurate documentation of repairs and parts inventory
Assist with the repair of equipment, troubleshooting of issues, and maintenance of attractions in superior working order
Maintain a neat and orderly work area and back end
Maintain an adequate supply of tools and machinery
Read and interpret diagnostics from manuals
Maintain a safe work environment and assist the supervisor to ensure staff adheres to all safety rules
Advise supervisor on any discovered problems or potential problems during maintenance
Work various shifts with regular attendance required
Perform other related duties as assigned
Skills & Qualifications
Must be at least 18 years of age
High‑school diploma, GED, or one year of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience
Some knowledge of amusement equipment is preferred but not required
Work flexibility (nights, weekends and holidays, as needed)
Basic working knowledge of hand tools
General knowledge of OSHA regulations and safety practices
Physical Requirements
Work in a noisy, fast‑paced environment with distracting conditions
Move about facility and stand for long periods (over 2/3 of the time)
Standing, kneeling, bending, walking, reaching, pushing, pulling
Ability to lift up to 300 lb (70+ lb with a dolly)
Ability to wear personal protective gear
Regularly stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, climb, and use hands and fingers to operate various tools (e.g., drills, ladders, chemicals)
