Job Description You are responsible for everything that happens during your shift, including cost controls, inventory control, cash control, and customer relations. You must set the example, follow all policies and procedures 100% of the time, and expect the same from your crew.

Key responsibilities include staffing, paperwork, cost controls, cash control, food management, working to a schedule, maintaining a perfect image and adherence to standards, providing great customer service, ensuring attendance and punctuality, transporting to/from work, maintaining store cleanliness, marketing, and profitability.

Qualifications

Must be 18 years of age or older.

Operate all equipment.

Stock ingredients from delivery area to storage, work area, and walk‑in cooler.

Prepare product.

Receive and process telephone orders.

Take inventory and complete associated paperwork.

Clean equipment and facility approximately daily.

Orientation and training provided on the job.

Ability to comprehend and give correct written instructions.

Ability to communicate verbally with customers and co‑workers to process orders both over the phone and in person.

Essential Functions/Skills

Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide accurately and quickly.

Must be able to make correct monetary change.

Verbal, writing, and telephone skills to take and process orders.

Motor coordination between eyes and hands/fingers to rapidly and accurately make precise movements with speed.

Ability to enter orders using a computer keyboard or touch screen.

Physical Demands

Exposed to varying weather conditions when removing trash and performing other outside tasks.

In‑store temperatures range from 36°F in the cooler to 90°F or higher in some work areas.

Sudden changes in temperature while working inside or outside.

Fumes from food odors.

Exposure to cornmeal dust.

Cramped quarters including walk‑in cooler.

Hot surfaces/tools from oven up to 500°F or higher.

Sharp edges and moving mechanical parts.

Additional Physical Requirements

Standing: most tasks are performed from a standing position; walking for short distances and durations; surfaces include ceramic tile and linoleum.

Walking: paperwork normally completed at a desk or table.

Lifting: bulk product deliveries made twice a week or more; deliveries may include cases of ingredients and supplies up to 50 lb.

Carrying: large cans weighing 3 lb 7 oz; occasionally, pizza sauce weighing 30 lb; trays of dough weighing ~12 lb per tray.

Pushing: moving trays on dollies; force up to 7.5 lb to push.

Climbing: infrequently navigate stairs or ladder for maintenance.

Stooping/Bending: forward bending at the waist for assembly; repeated continuously during the day.

Crouching/Squatting: occasional stock shelves and cleaning low areas.

Reaching: continuous; up, down, forward; occasionally above 72 in.

Hand Tasks: eye‑hand coordination essential; frequent use of forearms and wrists; manipulating pizza peel.

Driving Specific Duties and Requirements

Deliver product by car to customer door.

Deliver flyers and door hangers.

Valid driver’s license with a safe driving record meeting company standards.

Access to an insured vehicle that can be used for delivery.

Must navigate adverse terrain and multi‑story buildings while carrying product.
