Job Description We are seeking an Assistant Manager to join our team at our 3108 S Kingshighway location in St. Louis, United States. As an Assistant Manager, you will play a crucial role in supporting the store manager in daily operations, team leadership, and ensuring exceptional customer service.
Assist the store manager in overseeing daily operations and achieving sales targets
Lead, motivate, and train team members to maintain high performance standards
Ensure excellent customer service by addressing customer inquiries and resolving issues promptly
Manage inventory, including ordering, receiving, and organizing stock
Implement and maintain company policies and procedures
Create and adjust employee schedules to optimize staffing levels
Assist in hiring, training, and evaluating team members
Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
Analyze sales data and make recommendations for improvement
Handle cash management and daily financial reporting
Qualifications
Proven leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide team members
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Strong problem-solving abilities and decision-making skills
Customer service-oriented with a focus on creating positive experiences
Proficient in time management and multitasking
Basic computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and POS systems
Previous retail or customer service experience required
Management or supervisory experience preferred
High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field preferred
Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 pounds
Knowledge of retail industry trends and best practices a plus
