Join our team as a Warehouse Associate and CDL Driver at Viking Electric. In this role, you’ll deliver essential electrical products from our warehouse to customers, ensuring a safe and efficient freight operation. Located in Duluth, MN, this full‑time position starts at 4:00 am and you’ll return home each night.

Schedule: 4 am start, Monday‑Friday (home every night)
Hourly pay: $24.75‑$27.50/hr (based on experience)
Distance: Local deliveries, return home each night
What You’ll Do As a driver, you play a vital role in delivering essential electrical products from our warehouse to our valued customers. Each day begins with a thorough pre‑trip inspection of your delivery vehicle, followed by loading materials and packages to prepare for the day ahead. You will make local deliveries, contact customers upon arrival and assist them with unloading. As the face of our company, you’ll build strong relationships with customers who rely on your service and support.
Conduct vehicle inspections at the start and end of your route
Transport and deliver products to customers with care
Unload items such as wire, pipe, conduit, and boxes during deliveries
Adhere to all safety procedures and regulations
Maintain a friendly and courteous demeanor with customers
Requirements
Valid driver’s license – Class B CDL
Be at least 21 years old
Ability to climb into and drive delivery vehicles
Ability to lift packages weighing up to 85 pounds
Ability to pass and maintain a Department of Transportation (DOT) physical test with our physician network
Basic math skills (add and subtract numbers)
Basic English communication skills
Willingness to learn how to operate equipment (training provided)
Must be authorized to work in the United States without VISA sponsorship now or in the future
Preferred, but not required
1 year of related experience and/or training
