Zep Inc. is a leading manufacturer of cleaning solutions for businesses and consumers with operations across the U.S., Canada, and Europe. Requirements
High School Diploma or equivalent
Must be able to move/lift cases weighing up to 50 pounds
Must be able to stand/walk up to 8 hours per shift
Previous line operator experience preferred
Previous manufacturing experience, including machine operator experience preferred
Basic math skills, read, write and understand English
Responsibilities
Assigns and guides production personnel.
Assist or train other associates to work on the line (Assistant Line Operators and General Factory Workers).
Verify all associated raw materials are on line for start-up.
Run all machine operations as required and perform changeovers when needed.
Start the line on time and manage line personnel.
Meet or exceed production and control quality weights.
May perform minor equipment maintenance or adjustments.
Perform quality checks and assist in performing hourly quality audits.
Complete required paperwork.
Timely reporting of production issues to Supervisor or other appropriate personnel.
Follow safety rules and housekeeping standards.
Practice lean principles and participate in events.
