Position Overview
Material Handler – Safely load, unload, and move materials within or near the site.
Job Summary
The Material Handler is responsible for safely loading, unloading, and moving materials within or near the site.
What you will do
Unload, stock, and inventory all deliveries Assist with new orders and cycle counts Read and understand standard work and risk assessments Exhibit equipment and product understanding Count, weigh, secure, tag, palletize, and stack materials and maintain accurate records of material movement Assist service operations with pulling and picking parts Perform other job duties as assigned
What you will have
Minimum of one year related experience and/or training Prior experience operating a forklift Must be at least 21 years of age Clean driving record: no more than (2) moving violations within the last 12 months and no more than three (3) moving violations in the past three (3) years
Top Candidates will have
Basic understanding of the warehouse distribution industry Experience with Syteline Inventory Management Systems
Additional Information
Shift: 1st Shift, 8AM – 5PM Overtime as required Some use of company vehicle (up to 10%)

Physical Demands
Frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and talk or hear. Required to sit; climb or balance and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. Must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus. Must be able to wear protective footwear and other Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) as required by the department.
Work Environment
Regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles. Frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. Occasionally exposed to high, precarious places and vibration. Noise Level: Moderate. Relocation assistance is not available for this position.
