Position Purpose Warehouse associates are the foundation to our company’s success. They work actively, safely, and independently to maintain the efficient flow of products through our distribution process, while ensuring quality standards. As a Forklift Operator, Non Formula, you will operate material handling equipment such as a forklift, pallet jack, reach truck, etc. The operator transports incoming freight to inventory from staging areas for storage, replenishes pick‑slots, and ensures all safety, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and quality standards are met.

Responsibilities

Locate proper slot on storage racks, stack pallets with forklift or hand stack items, enter product data and location into the system.

Perform count check of incoming freight, transport to the freezer with forklift/pallet jack.

Replenish pick slots with outgoing stock items according to next day’s work orders.

Rotate date‑sensitive stock to the front of the rack and remove outdated inventory according to company policy.

Disperse over‑stocked items to temporary storage.

Remove empty pallets, cardboard packing, and strapping to the proper area.

Inspect empty pallets for damage and move pallets with pallet jack or forklift to the correct storage area.

Follow all preferred work methods, safety policies, and procedures per company guidelines.

Ensure work area is safe and report any unsafe conditions immediately.

Perform safety checks on equipment, obtain required supplies, and prepare for operations.

Wear all required Personal Protective Equipment and Safety Gear.

Meet required productivity and accuracy standards per location and company guidelines.

Work from receiving sheets, computer print‑out, established procedures, and verbal instructions.

Inspect items for damage, perform temperature and quality checks, and take appropriate action as needed.

Perform general housekeeping duties in the work area as needed.

Replace or recharge batteries for equipment and complete inspection checklists.

Secure all equipment and complete all necessary paperwork at the end of the shift.

Perform other related duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications

High School Diploma/GED or equivalent.

6+ months of warehouse and/or distribution work experience.

Ability to work scheduled/assigned times and required overtime.

Ability to stand, walk, reach, and lift repeatedly throughout the shift (30–90 lbs).

Experience working in multi‑temperature environments (cooler, freezer, dry).

Pass post‑offer drug test and criminal background check.

Compensation $19.00
