Job Summary
1 day ago – Be among the first 25 applicants for a Manufacturing Operator – Newington, NH. Pratt & Whitney is seeking a Weekend Shift Operator (Friday–Sunday 3×12 hour shifts, 6:00 am–6:30 pm). The role provides 3 weeks of training and 4–8 weeks of on‑the‑job experience. Responsibilities
Read operation sheets, part travelers, BOROPS, and oral instructions to set up and operate NC milling/grinding machines, vertical turret lathes, and VTCs. Perform routine production operations on weldments and assemblies. Verify conformance of finished work to specifications using precision measuring instruments. Obtain operator certification to accept or reject parts. Maintain machines by performing required total preventive maintenance (TPM). Collaborate with engineers, quality assurance, programmers, and other production personnel to resolve machining problems and assist in part process development. Qualifications You Must Have
High School diploma or GED. Must be able to read, write, speak, and understand English. Preferred Qualifications
1+ year of manufacturing, automotive, or related trade experience. Ability to make computations involving decimals and fractions. Ability to manage multiple competing priorities simultaneously. Benefits
