Sunstates Security is hiring Flex Security Officers in St. Louis, MO.
All days and shifts are available with a pay rate of
$19.57/hr - paid weekly.
Benefits
Flex:
All qualifying candidates are eligible for a 401(k) with employer match (up to 8%) that work 20 hours a week (minimum of 500 hours per year or more worked) and have completed six months of service with Sunstates Security.
Requirements
Must be 21 years of age or older and have a valid Driver's License.
1+ years of experience in a customer service role.
Must have reliable transportation.
Strong customer service skills.
Previous security, law enforcement, and/or military experience is preferred.
Must have scheduling flexibility.
Good communication skills.
Possess St. Louis, MO, security license is preferred.
Must be able to work weekends, weekdays, holidays, and in all weather conditions.
Flex Officer Explanation
The Flex Officer position is crucial to our company’s operational and financial success. The flex officer provides trained, competent support by working shifts which become open due to illness, call-offs, weather, vacation, or other causes. This enables Sunstates to provide continual, uninterrupted service to our customers, while also protecting the health and work balance of our personnel.
Scheduling Expectations
The Scheduling Parameters And Expectations For a Flex Officer Are Different From Those Of an Employee Assigned To a Fixed Post. As a Flex officer:
You will be trained at various posts and/or facilities based on operational need. This may not be a permanent assignment.
Your schedule (shifts, days off, hours per week, etc.) will vary based on operational need.
You will be assigned to, or offered the opportunity to accept, shifts as they become available due to staffing needs.
Some shifts may be scheduled in advance; some may be called on short notice.
You are expected to work any scheduled shift within your availability described to your supervisor. If unavailable on a date/time within your availability, communicate with your supervisor.
For short-notice call-ins, you are expected to work at least 80% of the shifts for which you are called. Refusing more than 20% of shifts may impact employment status.
General Duties
A Security Officer may perform duties as specified by Post Orders and SOP. The Officer must read and become knowledgeable of Post Orders and SOP and act quickly according to directives.
