Production Technician !

This role is on a rotating 12‑hour Dupont schedule with a 4‑week cycle of day and night shifts, including a full week off each month.

What we are looking for:

High School Diploma or GED required. Additional education is a plus

Ability to move freely throughout the facility, including climbing stairs and ladders, and navigating around equipment and machinery

Must lift 50 lbs and walk/stand for a minimum of 12 hours. Walking up and down stairs and throughout the mill for 12 hours

We prefer prior use of a forklift (12 months) and prior work in a manufacturing environment

In this role, you would:

Respond to upset conditions and work closely with any and all team members to address problems

Communicate with team members about production line activities, any upset conditions experienced, and follow up on the resolution

Properly complete product changes and productively operate the equipment

Create maintenance requests for equipment problems in a timely manner and follow‑up as needed to ensure work is completed

Actively participate in any problem‑solving meetings and contribute to improving processes

Complete paperwork and electronic entries as necessary

Physical Requirements:

Ability to move freely throughout the facility, including climbing stairs and ladders, and navigating around equipment and machinery.

Ability to bend, stoop, and crouch as necessary to inspect and maintain equipment.

Capability to lift and carry materials and equipment weighing up 50 pounds

Ability to perform physical tasks that involve lifting, pushing, pulling, and carrying heavy objects.

Endurance to stand and walk for extended periods, often in environments with dust, chemicals, high noise levels and varying temperatures.
