Material Handler duties including, but not limited to the following: pick and preparing of customer orders, putting incoming stock away, pulling of material requests for the shop floor, receiving of incoming materials, processing of small package shipments (UPS, FedEx) and other related job functions. General housekeeping including stock consolidation, count verification and sweeping.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Working with printed orders, pull stock and prepare items for shipment. Movement and locating of product within the warehouse and general shop floor. Pulling of raw materials and servicing shop floor locations when requested. Loading and unloading of freight carriers and receiving of incoming products. Pulling, packing and processing of small orders for customers using vendor provided equipment (UPS, FedEx). Accurate recording of warehouse transactions, including order picking, pulling of stock for the shop floor and put away of product coming to the warehouse. General warehouse maintenance, including consolidation and organization of inventory, cleaning of work area and following of normal warehouse practices as it pertains to keeping good order. Performs other duties as assigned. REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED), and one year experience with lift truck in a warehouse or manufacturing environment. Must score a minimum of 90% on the Warehouse Skills test
