Seeking two full‑time preparers
Role Description This is a full‑time, on‑site Tax Preparer role based in Amarillo, TX. The Tax Preparer will be responsible for preparing accurate and timely individual and business tax returns while ensuring compliance with applicable tax laws. Daily tasks will include reviewing financial documents, analyzing income and deductions, identifying tax savings opportunities, and providing recommendations to optimize financial outcomes for clients. The Tax Preparer will also stay informed about current tax regulations and maintain precise and organized records.
Qualifications
Solid knowledge and experience with Tax Preparation, Tax Law, and general Tax‑related practices
Understanding of Financial Statements and Finance with the ability to interpret and analyze financial data
Strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and commitment to accuracy
Proficiency with tax preparation software and related financial tools
Effective communication and client service skills
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field or 2 years experience in tax preparation
CPA or EA certification is a plus
Prior experience in a similar role is highly desirable
