Position Summary
The Patient Account Rep/Cash Poster Counselor is responsible for posting all cash and other types of payments received by the Business Office. As well as other date entries such as account adjustments and charge posting. Cash Poster/Financial Counselor maintains an organized process to ensure that all monies received belong to the facility and that they are posted to the appropriate account. Other related duties include, but not limited to verification of benefits, patient financial assessments, and assisting patients with Medicaid Applications.

Qualifications
Education: High school diploma or GED is required; medical business office certificate and/or training is preferred.
Experience: Two-years of medical business office experience is preferred.
