The Spine Sales Representative is responsible for achieving predetermined sales goals and quotas within their team’s assigned territory. The position requires establishing, building, and maintaining customer relationships through constant communication and in-person appointments. This role involves maintaining expert knowledge of spine materials, consulting surgeons in the operating room regarding Arthrex products, and focusing on orthopedic and sports medicine markets.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Meet and exceed sales objectives for the territory.

Build and maintain strong business relationships and implement sales strategies.

Communicate product updates, portfolio changes, and educational programs to current and prospective accounts.

Implement new sales plans and marketing strategies to position Arthrex competitively.

Cross-sell additional products or manage new product introductions.

Address and resolve account issues.

Support compliance by maintaining confidentiality, acting ethically, and adhering to laws and company policies.

Receive coaching, training, or mentoring from the sales manager and share knowledge with peers.

Maintain training in sales skills, product features/benefits, and critical business applications.

Collect competitive data and stay current on industry trends.

Participate in sales and professional association meetings, including outside regular business hours.

Ability to lift up to 35 pounds on a regular basis.

Requirements

Minimum 3+ years of orthopedic experience; spine experience preferred.

Bachelor’s degree.

Strong ability to relate to customers and constituents within the orthopedic/sports medicine market.

Comfortable in open operating room environments.

Knowledge of orthopedic procedures, terminology, and Arthrex product applications.

Understanding of operating room protocols and procedures.

Ability to learn a high level of technical information relating to anatomy and surgical indications.

Prior sales experience is a plus.

MS Office proficiency.

Ability to create an effective business plan (30/60/90).

Commission-driven and self-motivated.

Strong public speaking, communication, and sense of urgency.

Capable of working well under pressure and independently.

Abides by all compliance and code of conduct policies.

Current driver’s license and personal transportation.
