Position Summary Responsible for the operation of forklifts and other equipment to move materials.
Primary Responsibility
Safely handle materials
Load and unload materials and equipment
Adjust machine settings to complete tasks according to specification, accurately and in a timely manner
Interpret hand signals to determine where materials are to be placed
Qualifications
Must have a valid Driver’s License
Knowledge of the lifting capacity of each forklift and other equipment that he/she is certified to operate
Physical Requirements
Climbing, balancing, stooping, kneeling, crouching, crawling, reaching, standing, walking, pushing, pulling, lifting, grasping, feeling, repetitive motions
