Qualifications Role Summary As a Project Manager / Civil Engineer, you'll lead multidisciplinary teams through all phases of planning, design, and delivery of complex projects. You'll play a key role in business development, project execution, and client relationship management—while also helping to mentor junior staff and contribute to the growth of our Tampa Aviation team.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, design, and manage a variety of aviation and civil infrastructure projects

Oversee stormwater, utility infrastructure, and pavement design and assessments

Manage construction support services, including construction management and inspection

Lead and coordinate large, multi-disciplinary design teams

Prepare engineering plans, specifications, reports, and permit applications

Analyze design alternatives, technical data, cost estimates, and project schedules

Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to quality standards

Maintain and grow client relationships with local and national aviation partners

Support business development, including proposal preparation and client presentations

Mentor and develop junior team members to promote technical excellence

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering from an ABET-accredited university

Minimum of 7 years of civil engineering experience, including at least 3 years in civil engineering project design

Florida Professional Engineer (P.E.) license or ability to obtain within 6 months

Demonstrated experience managing aviation or transportation infrastructure projects

Proficiency with AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and Microsoft Office suite

Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills

Ability to travel to client sites throughout the region

Valid driver's license with a clean driving record

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with City of Tampa (CoT), Hillsborough County, Plant City, FDOT, FAA, and local permitting agencies

Familiarity with civil engineering design, site development, and utility coordination

Advanced proficiency in Civil 3D and related engineering software
