Position Summary: Performs a wide variety of activities, including moving and transporting non-hazardous and hazardous materials within a warehouse or facilities, loading and unloading trucks, staging jobs, recording inventory statuses, and related activities.
Position Responsibilities
Provides operational support by moving and transporting material and staging jobs in our press room and finishing production areas.
Performs duties such as moving material throughout the facility, loading and unloading trucks, and banding skids.
Stages jobs in assigned production areas, cleans scrap, and recycles materials.
Disposes of broken pallets in the appropriate location.
Assists with unloading trucks, moving stock to and from loading docks, and distributing materials as needed.
Performs other related duties as assigned to ensure efficient operation of the work unit.
Qualifications
High School diploma or equivalent.
Previous experience operating pallet jack and forklift equipment.
Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.

Physical Activity
Carrying, writing, bending, stooping, grasping, standing, twisting, sitting, lifting, walking, walking to various buildings on campus, filing documents, using computers, telephones, mobile devices, printers, copiers, communicating with internal and external stakeholders, using hands and wrists continuously in controlled movement when loading substrate.
Physical Requirements
Push, pull, lift, or carry up to as much as 25 pounds occasionally.
Lift up to 25 pounds to shoulder height occasionally.
Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
Work Environment
Regularly works near moving equipment.
Noise level in the work environment is moderately loud.
May be advised or required to utilize personal protective equipment including ear protection, eye protection, lifting equipment, and safety shoes.
