Responsibilities

Operate the Point of Sale (POS) system accurately, processing transactions and handling cash with precision.
Assist customers with product selection, utilizing selling techniques to maximize sales and meeting customer needs.
Maintain a clean and organized sales area, including stocking merchandise and ensuring proper merchandising displays.
Adhere to all food safety and sanitation guidelines, maintaining a safe and hygienic work environment.
Perform cashiering duties, including cash handling, balancing the cash register, and processing various payment methods.
Assist with inventory management, including stocking shelves, monitoring stock levels, and reporting discrepancies.
Demonstrate strong communication skills when interacting with customers and colleagues.
Bag merchandise carefully and efficiently, ensuring customer satisfaction.
Demonstrate a willingness to learn and adapt to new procedures and products.
Minimum Qualifications
Working knowledge of cash register operation and cash handling procedures.
General knowledge of basic arithmetic and general mathematics.
Ability to lift and carry merchandise, with a demonstrated lifting ability.
Effective communication skills in the English language.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and multitask effectively.
Demonstrated customer service skills and a positive attitude.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Possess a detail-oriented approach to tasks.
