Heidelberg Materials North America operates over 450 locations across the U.S. and Canada with approximately 9,000 employees.**What You'll Be Doing*** Operate and monitor plant equipment to ensure efficient production of sand and gravel* Perform routine inspections and basic maintenance to maintain equipment reliability* Load and unload materials safely using heavy machinery* Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors to coordinate operations* Follow all safety protocols and environmental regulations during shift operations**What Are We Looking For*** Ability to operate heavy equipment and machinery safely and efficiently* Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality and safety standards* Willingness to work in a physically demanding, outdoor industrial environment* Effective communication and teamwork skills* Adaptability to changing priorities and shift schedules**Conditions of Employment*** Successful candidate must submit to post-offer pre-employment physical examination, drug screen, and background check* Compliance with all company safety policies and procedures is required**Work Environment*** Role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise level**Physical Demands of the Job*** Ability to stand, walk, and climb for extended periods* Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds occasionally* Frequent bending, stooping, and working in confined spaces* Manual dexterity to operate tools and controls* Use of personal protective equipment (PPE) required**What We Offer*** Starting Pay $24.00 per hour DOE* 401(k) retirement savings plan with an automatic company contribution as well as matching contributions* Highly competitive benefits programs, including:
