This issue has been reported in multiple states. The text scam poses as an Elwood Staffing recruiter and urges job seekers to apply for a fraudulent job. Some have reported they are being asked to contact them using Whatsapp to pay for computer equipment and background checks. What steps should you take if you suspect you’ve received a fraudulent text?

Production Technician Details
Temp-to-Hire position
$15.00 /hour
Full Time work available
First Shift (Monday through Friday from 05:50am to 02:30pm)
Wheels come off production line, will mark each wheel with identification tag (customer, number etc.)
Responsible to ensure customer wheels are tagged correctly.
Scrap wheels are to be counted and the count put on worksheet.
Unload wheels to pallet
Responsible to fill out all required worksheets and other paperwork
Assist stacking wheels on skid and shrink wrap skid when full if necessary
Sweep shop and warehouse areas
Production Technician Qualifications
Must be able to work overtime
Ability to move and twist throughout the shift
Work independently or as part of a team
Steel‑toed boots or shoes required
