Position Overview A respected Century City law firm is seeking an experienced Litigation Assistant to support attorneys in its busy litigation practice. This position offers the opportunity to work in a collaborative, team‑oriented environment providing high‑level administrative and legal support to multiple timekeepers. The ideal candidate will bring strong state litigation experience (with some federal exposure), excellent organizational skills, and a proven ability to handle complex tasks under tight deadlines.
Key Responsibilities
Draft and prepare legal documents and correspondence, including pleadings, motions, and discovery materials.
Assist with trial preparation, including organizing exhibits, witness lists, and trial binders.
Handle state and federal e‑filing using systems such as OneLegal, File & ServeXpress, and Janney & Janney.
Maintain attorney calendars, track deadlines, and manage case files.
Coordinate depositions, hearings, and court reporters.
Review incoming and outgoing mail to ensure timely delivery and proper routing.
Prepare and process billing pre‑bills and final invoices; assist with time entry.
Schedule appointments, meetings, and travel arrangements for attorneys.
Provide excellent customer service to clients and maintain confidentiality at all times.
Collaborate effectively with administrative and legal support teams.
Qualifications – Required
High school diploma or equivalent.
5–15 years of legal administrative experience, preferably in litigation.
Solid understanding of California court procedures, rules, and filing requirements.
Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office Suite and TOC/TOA formatting in Word.
Excellent proofreading and attention to detail.
Ability to manage multiple priorities in a deadline‑driven environment.
Professional demeanor with strong communication and teamwork skills.
Qualifications – Preferred
Some college coursework or a paralegal certificate.
Notary Public certification.
Experience supporting attorneys through all stages of trial.

This is a full‑time, onsite position in Century City.
Regular attendance and punctuality are essential.
