Product Marketing Manager, Matterport

Based in Arlington, VA, this role is on-site five days per week and reports to the Vice President of Marketing. The successful candidate will drive marketing strategies that highlight Matterport’s innovation in digital twins, spatial intelligence, and AI-powered property insights, positioning the brand as the essential technology partner for brokers, owners, developers, investors, and tenants. Experience in commercial real estate marketing is required to effectively lead initiatives and align with the needs of this specialized industry.

RESPONSIBILITIES

Strategic Marketing & Positioning: Develop go-to-market strategies that highlight Matterport’s leadership in digital twins, AI, and spatial data with a deep understanding of CRE market dynamics. Craft compelling messaging that differentiates Matterport as the premier technology solution for the commercial real estate ecosystem.

Innovative Campaign Development: Build and execute multi-channel campaigns showcasing Matterport’s advanced capabilities – including immersive 3D experiences, automation tools, and AI-driven insights – tailored to CRE professionals and decision-makers. Produce demand-generation and thought leadership content such as case studies, interactive demos, videos, webinars, and digital campaigns that emphasize design innovation and measurable impact within the CRE sector.

Cross-Functional Partnership: Collaborate with Product, Sales, Research, and Technology teams to ensure marketing strategies reflect Matterport’s cutting‑edge product roadmap and resonate with commercial real estate audiences. Partner with industry associations, CRE media outlets, and event organizers to position Matterport as a thought leader at the forefront of proptech innovation.

Data-Driven Insights: Use advanced analytics to track campaign performance, test emerging tactics, and deliver optimization recommendations. Build reporting frameworks that demonstrate ROI and influence leadership decision‑making across CRE marketing initiatives.

Growth & Market Leadership: Continuously explore and test new marketing technologies, automation approaches, and AI-driven tools to scale Matterport’s reach. Anticipate market trends and competitor moves, positioning Matterport as the innovative brand driving change in commercial real estate.

Industry Presence: Represent Matterport at industry conferences and events, emphasizing its role in shaping the future of real estate technology. Equip regional sales teams with high‑impact, tech-focused collateral and campaigns that highlight product differentiation for CRE clients.

REQUIREMENTS

Bachelor’s degree required from an accredited, not for profit university or college; Master’s degree preferred.

5 years of B2B marketing experience, including at least 3-5 years specifically in commercial real estate (CRE) marketing.

Proven record of developing and executing digital‑first, innovation‑driven marketing strategies within the CRE industry.

Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret and act on performance data.

Excellent communication and presentation skills, capable of engaging technical and executive‑level audiences alike.

Highly collaborative, entrepreneurial, and able to inspire cross‑functional teams.

Thrives in a fast‑paced environment where innovation and execution must go hand‑in‑hand.

Track record of commitment to prior employers.
