Empowering Lives to Grow Big People!

We are a One-on-One Attendant Care agency, providing ADL (Activities of Daily Living) and Community Supports for our customers in their own homes. We strive to inspire and support the unique individuals and families that we serve. To empower them to participate in their communities and live their best lives.

Job Summary & Description Empowered Services is seeking compassionate and dedicated Direct Support Professionals (DSPs) to join our team. In this role, you will build meaningful relationships that inspire confidence, promote independence, and support individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities in living fulfilling, joyful lives. As a DSP, you will work one-on-one with each customer to understand their unique needs, support them in achieving their goals, and provide care in a positive, encouraging, and safe environment. Our DSPs serve not only as caregivers but also as mentors, advocates, and trusted companions for the individuals we support.

We are looking for a compassionate and proactive Direct Support Professional (DSP) to support an independent and active individual who loves staying busy and connected with friends and family. This person enjoys spending time with loved ones, caring for their cat, and getting outdoors for activities like day trips and camping. The ideal DSP will provide gentle guidance, companionship, and hands‑on support with tasks that can be physically challenging, as well as help with organization of important items like emails, mail, and household tasks. This individual values their independence and responds best to someone who is encouraging and collaborative rather than directive. They have a big heart and a fun, outgoing personality, and they love to laugh and not take life too seriously. While they can sometimes be headstrong, they thrive when supported by someone who is patient, positive, and proactive in helping them achieve their goals.
