Product Designer Full‑time, New York City.

The Opportunity As a Product Designer at Flourish, you will be responsible for ambitious goals across both product and marketing workstreams. Working closely with our design director, product managers, engineers, other designers and the marketing team, you will design and iterate on projects that range from elegant end‑to‑end user experiences on web and mobile to compelling marketing campaigns. This is an opportunity to use design to create impact across the company, our product, and with our end clients and customers.

The Team Since 2017, Flourish has been on a mission to help financial advisors evolve from holistic advice to holistic implementation to more fully serve their clients and achieve better outcomes. We focus on independent Registered Investment Advisors (RIAs), delivering financial products that advisors can’t easily access today through beautiful, scalable, and easy‑to‑use technology. We work with over 1,000 RIAs that collectively represent more than $2.6 T in assets under management across two products—Flourish Annuities and Flourish Cash—and with our recent acquisition of Sora Finance, we’ll be adding a lending offering in 2026. Headquartered in New York City, we are an independently‑operating, wholly‑owned subsidiary of MassMutual Life Insurance Company.

The Impact You are a creative designer with a track record of delivering at all stages, from initial concepting all the way through to the final product. You have strong problem‑solving abilities and thrive in both self‑directed efforts and as part of a collaborative team. You look for opportunities where design can be used to improve any aspect of an experience. You are an exceptional communicator, capable of explaining your design decisions, and are comfortable sharing your work early and often to collect feedback. You believe in getting the details right and care deeply about your work. You are eager to work with a fast‑paced, growing team and you continuously find ways to contribute beyond the normal boundaries of your role.
