Job Summary The Laundry Attendant is responsible for ensuring all hotel linens, towels, and uniforms are cleaned, dried, folded, and distributed according to brand standards. This role supports overall guest satisfaction by maintaining high levels of cleanliness, organization, and safety within the laundry operation.

Essential Job Functions

Sort, wash, dry, fold, and store hotel linens, towels, and staff uniforms

Operate commercial laundry equipment safely and efficiently

Follow proper chemical usage and safety procedures at all times

Inspect linens for stains, damage, or excessive wear and report issues

Maintain a clean, organized, and sanitary laundry area

Distribute clean linens to housekeeping and retrieve soiled items

Assist with linen inventory counts and par level maintenance

Follow brand standards and hotel policies for linen handling

Support housekeeping team as needed during high-volume periods

Report maintenance issues with equipment promptly

Qualifications & Skills

Prior hotel laundry experience preferred but not required

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment

Strong attention to detail and cleanliness

Ability to follow verbal and written instructions

Basic knowledge of laundry chemicals and equipment (training provided)

Team-oriented with a positive attitude

Physical Requirements

Ability to stand for extended periods

Lift, push, and pull up to 50 lbs

Repetitive bending, reaching, and folding

Ability to work in warm and humid conditions

Schedule Requirements

Flexible availability including weekends and holidays

Morning, mid, or evening shifts as assigned

Standards of Conduct

Maintain a professional appearance and follow uniform guidelines

Demonstrate reliability, punctuality, and teamwork

Comply with all safety, health, and company policies
